We work on exciting projects and we’re looking for a Technical Director to lead our growing team of engineers, manage all aspects of software engineering and service delivery in Sydney to ensure the smooth delivery of our clients' products.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will form part of the local senior management team that directs the strategy and operations of the Sydney office.  You will have to demonstrate exceptional leadership, collaboration and communication skills, vision and thought leadership.

Who are you?

You're an ambitious self-starter who shows perseverance because you're hungry for results. You're a great listener, you communicate clearly and have tons of experience dealing with demanding clients. You diffuse high-tension situations comfortably and negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups.

Your colleagues trust you and your integrity is untouchable. You're self-aware, you embrace feedback because you know you can grow from it and you admit your rare mistakes. You've experience in managing a team of engineers and are known for being a great mentor. You're so friendly and fun, everyone wants to be you.

Technically, you're on top of:

  • Frontend/Web: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and React
  • Backend:  .NET, Serverless (AWS), Node.js, relational and NoSQL databases etc
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
  • Mobile:  iOS, Android & cross-platform technologies such as React Native
  • Quality: Manual, automation, strategy

Finally, you're an experienced internal project lead and you also thrive in conducting requirements workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
