We take our client's visions from concept to release in as little as a few months, and often work together to evolve products for years.

You’ll gain experience with industries that range from NGOs to Transport and have the opportunity to nurture products and see them through to completion and into maintenance. 

Our projects are native mobile apps and web apps, but that doesn’t stop us from experimenting with wearables, VR/AR and IoT devices. The clients we partner with range from boutique to multinational, whose users span from passengers in public transport around NSW to farmers and social workers.

The Engineering Manager will be a driven and strategic leader who is at the forefront of the latest technology trends. The key focus of this role is on team leadership. You’ll leverage your technical experience to mentor and grow the teams of apps, web and software quality engineers.

You will work alongside Technical Leads, Principal Engineers and the Technical Director to help make our growing team of engineers function like a well-oiled machine.

What experience and skills do you need?

  • Solid experience in successfully leading, mentoring and growing technical teams
  • Evidence of leadership through the provision of individual sets of objectives and development plans for each of your team members
  • Ability to balance and prioritise the needs of individuals, your team, projects and clients and Tigerspike as a whole
  • Past experience as a Software Engineer
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be a true leader and inspire a culture of constant change and improvement across the engineering team
