Software Engineer In Test


Tigerspike Singapore is looking for a Software Engineer in Test. You'll work with a group of problem solvers who work collaboratively across Tigerspike projects and client accounts. Tigerspike in Singapore is located just a 5-minute walk from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station, right in the heart of the CBD area. You will

  • Be excited to work with accomplished groups of innovators to create digital products
  • Be an essential part of the engineering team and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software projects through test automation
  • Demonstrate your expertise in the creation and management of Test Plans and Automated Tests, up-skill quickly and utilise new technologies
  • Showcase your ability to communicate effectively, analytics skills and your ability to be organised and thorough
  • Gain experience with industries that range from Banking, Government, NGOs, Telecommunications, Aviation, FMCG and Retail just to name a few and nurture products and see them through to completion and into maintenance
  • Work across many native mobile apps and web apps, our goal is to stay at the forefront of innovation by applying design thinking to our client’s business problems.
  • That drive has led us to experiment with wearables, VR/AR, Machine Learning, and IoT devices (especially as enabled by the cloud) 

You have

  • 3+ years experience manually testing mobile applications along with having experience with automation testing
  • Proficient in C# and JavaScript
  • Experience in using API tools like Postman, JMeter and debugging tools like Charles Proxy
  • Experience with Automation mobile tools like Appium or Calabash or similar tools 
  • Experience with web automation technologies such as BrowserStack and Selenium
  • An in-depth knowledge of mobile technologies, both iOS and Android
  • Experience working with TDD and BDD methodologies
  • Knowledge of AGILE and Scrum Hands on experience with version control systems such as Git (mandatory) and SVN
  • Experience running performance and load testing ISTQB certification is a bonus
  • Interest in taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through resolution
  • Ability to research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues
  • Willingness to take part in the 24x7 Support program for the customers with support contract in a rotating roster
