In this role, you’ll work with a state government service on a comprehensive redesign and rebuild of their suite of mission-critical apps. The customer is a frontline government service, providing key services which are fundamental to the safety and wellbeing of citizens.

The project goal is to transform those native apps into a holistic, user-centred, desirable experience, and includes rolling it out across a new form factor. The role will involve working collaboratively with the client and end users, in a multi-disciplinary agile team, to reimagine, define and build the next generation of mobile app(s) in this service.

We’re looking for thinkers, problem solvers and lovers of all things design to join our team.

As a UX Designer,  you will be a strategic thinker who has an excellent understanding of research and UX design best practices, leading with the creation of the best digital experiences. You will champion design and quality across projects and clearly articulates and maintains design policy and standards that drive the quality of company deliverables amongst wider project team members.

What experience and skills do you need?

  • At least 3 years of experience inspiring clients and turning ideas into world-class experiences
  • Previous experience working in an agency or for a consultancy
  • Native mobile experience is highly desirable
  • A solid background facilitating workshops- effectively running stakeholder workshops
  • Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to persuade
  • Knowledge of Human Centred Design principles
  • Solid experience in requirement gathering through workshops, interviews and research
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a bonus
