Technical Director


Tigerspike is an Apple Mobility Partner, AWS Partner and Google Certified Development Agency that is one of the most recognised specialist mobility companies in the world. 

We work on exciting projects and we’re looking for a Technical Director to lead our growing team of engineers, manage all aspects of software engineering and service delivery in Sydney to ensure the smooth delivery of our clients' products.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will form part of the local senior management team that directs the strategy and operations of the Sydney office.  You will have to demonstrate exceptional leadership, collaboration and communication skills, vision and thought leadership.

You've experience in managing a team of engineers and are known for being a great mentor. You're so friendly and fun, everyone wants to be you.

Technically, you're on top of:

  • Frontend/Web: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and React
  • Backend:  .NET, Serverless (AWS), Node.js, relational and NoSQL databases etc
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
  • Mobile:  iOS, Android & cross-platform technologies such as React Native
  • Quality: Manual, automation, strategy

Finally, you're an experienced internal project lead and you also thrive in conducting requirements workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
