Tigerspike Melbourne is looking for a Business Analyst who is excited to work alongside a talented group of innovators to create digital products. Being a part of the conversation from the start, you will be responsible for researching, defining and communicating project requirements. Collaborating with UX & UI designers and software engineers (web & mobile), you will have the ability to flex your analyst chops to help shape, design and build digital products that help solve key business needs.

Tell me more!

Business Analysts at Tigerspike work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and how they relate to the project and product. They conduct desk research of relevant industries, trends and clients in order to better understand project environments. They also conduct interviews to elicit requirements and better understand the customer. They make data-led decisions and use analytics to support their insights and recommendations.

The Business Analysts lead and participate in internal and external Workshops. They also actively support the Product Owner and helps build required Business Cases that support the future investment required to drive the product forward.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence. 
  • Proven experience applying systematic analytical approaches to complex situations, structuring and ordering inputs to create a coherent, compelling vision. 
  • You’re a tactical thinker, capable of analysing the real world and distilling what you see into a credible plan for customer organisations.
  • You're an ambitious self-starter who shows perseverance because you're hungry for results. 
  • You're a great listener, you communicate clearly and don't quiver in front of clients. 
  • Your colleagues trust you and your integrity is untouchable. 
  • Also, you're so friendly and fun, everyone wants to work with you.

Also, you have experience in at least two of the following areas:

  • Project management
  • Testing
  • Process analysis (user-flow diagrams, experience storyboards, site map architecture diagram)
  • Product strategy
