Desktop Support Engineer (Part-time)


Tigerspike Tokyo is looking for a part-time Desktop Support Engineer who is excited to work alongside a talented group of innovators building digital products that improve people’s lives. You will be tasked day-to-day doing desktop support for our office mac users, conference rooms, some degree of local network infrastructure maintenance, and joiner/leaver processes.  With the guidance of our Global TechOps team, you will also have the opportunity to learn a programming language and get experience working across AD administration, network infrastructure, Amazon AWS, Chef, CI Chain and other infrastructure needs of the company.

  • 4+ years of desktop support experience in a Mac-heavy environment, along with a suite of mobile & streaming devices
  • Previous experience supporting Mac workstations on Windows servers
  • Previous experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Understanding of local network infrastructure operation and maintenance
  • Ability to work autonomously and be able to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Interest in learning a programing language is highly desired
  • Fluent English skills in speaking, writing, and reading. Japanese ability is better to have
  • Bonus Points: experience (or willingness to learn) any of the following: Cisco, Linux, VMware, AWS

Work time & VISA

  • We offer you to work not more than 3days per week. The working days and hours are negotiable.
  • We looking for the person who has Employment rights(VISA) in Japan.
