UI Designer

Experience Design

Tigerspike is a digital services company with a mission to improve people’s lives through technology.

We’re on a quest to find a highly collaborative & pragmatic UI Designer who is as fascinated with design and technology as we are.

So, if you feel you’d thrive working within multi-disciplinary teams working on projects that push you out of your comfort zone, then read on.

Tell me more!

Variety is one of the best parts about working at Tigerspike as you’ll gain experience across multiple industries that range from NGOs to Retail to Travel.  Working closely with our clients, you will have the opportunity to work at varying stages of a product’s lifecycle on both consumer and enterprise solutions on different platforms.

You'll work with highly talented, cross-functional teams of passionate people in an informal, yet high energy environment.

Having ownership of a solution, you will work independently at times, while remaining open to creative direction, input and feedback from your peers

This job might be for you if you:

  • Have a good understanding of the balance between what is viable for the business, desirable for the user, and technically feasible
  • Can turn solution ideas into tangible deliverables
  • Can effectively communicate using fundamental design principles of shapes, colours, texture and space
  • Have phenomenal attention to detail, taming those pesky pixels to create beautiful solutions
  • Are not afraid to speak your mind and passionate about exploring, experimenting and learning new things every day
  • Have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the context, medium and platforms you’re designing for
  • Know when and how to push the design direction within the constraints of your projects
  • Don’t want to be doing the same old thing you can copy from Dribble. You love to be challenged and pushed outside of your comfort zone to grow, learn and deliver solutions which provide real value to business and users.

What’s in it for you?

Variety- No one day will likely be the same. You’ll have the chance to work on different platforms, across multiple industries and a variety of projects

Empowerment - to be autonomous within a team that is passionate to deliver quality. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the way we work and solve problems

Professional Growth - we know you’re happiest when you’re learning, so you’ll be given an annual allowance to spend on your professional growth such as attending a conference or taking a course. It’s like a makeover for your mind!

Collaboration - you’ll work in multi-disciplinary teams, alongside highly experienced designers and engineers, enabling you to challenge each other and push each other to grow.

Innovation - our regular Innovation Days allow us to take a break from client work to spend time exploring with the latest tech and improving our tools and techniques

Community - you’ll genuinely feel like part of the family from day one. We have a lot of fun at work and often go for dinner and drinks together outside of work, as well as the theatre, comedy shows, tough mudders and more!
