IT Support Engineer

We’re now looking for a talented IT Support Technician/ Analyst/Engineer who loves variety in their day to join our global Technical Operations team.

You should also have the following skills/ experience:

  • Substantial Mac support experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation
  • An understanding of core ITIL service delivery concepts

The following experience is helpful and you’ll have an opportunity to learn on the job if it’s new to you:

  • A good understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM etc.)
  • Experience with programming or scripting in Bash, Powershell or Python
  • Network Administration and Support experience with VPN appliances, NAT servers and WAN/LAN

What will you do?

You’ll be part of the group TechOps team, which is made up of Support and SysOps engineers around the world.

Based in London, you will be tasked with day-to-day end-user support for our Mac-laptop users, conference rooms, some local network infrastructure maintenance, and ITIL Service Delivery processes for offices in the UK, Poland and USA.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about - and work with - our AWS cloud infrastructure.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Working with staff to triage and resolve issues with hardware and software and liaising with external support services or vendors as needed 
  • Supporting employee on/off-boarding, including procurement, administration of accounts, and provisioning across all of our systems
  • Managing the local office IT asset registry
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting issues with office infrastructure
  • Performing hardware and software audits as directed and rolling out new software packages
  • Planning and forecasting hardware equipment procurement as needed
