A consumer facing self-checkout application leveraging a suite of AWS products such as Cognito, Lambda (including Lambda Layers), API Gateway, Rekognition, and Dynamo DB. Ideation to MVP took just eight weeks.
A packer-based “golden image” collection of Windows and Linux based EC2 instances each running a different .NET Core middleware microservice that acts in concert to mediate communication between bKash’s consumer facing mobile applications and backend.
Microservice instances are assigned their own Auto Scaling Group and Elastic Load Balancer to elastically accommodate loads between 10 and 12,000 RPM in a single day.
